Abstract

The law case files consist of unbound case papers filed in proceedngs brought on complaint before the District Court by the United States and occasionally by private individuals to recover possessions of real property. The cases relate chiefly to actions of ejection and trespass and consist of bills of ejectment and complaint, answers and demurrers of defendants, summons and writs, and notices of trial.
